About Human Skills and Resources Inc
Human Skills and Resources Inc is a comprehensive community addiction recovery center serving Creek and Tulsa counties in northeast Oklahoma. Operating primarily from its Sapulpa office at 2 North Water Street, with an additional Tulsa office, the organization is mission-driven and committed to non-discrimination, with a published policy that no one is refused services due to inability to pay.
Services offered include screening and assessment for substance use disorders, outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment, medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, relapse prevention, anger management, cognitive skills programming, certified batterers intervention, court-ordered supervision, urinalysis drug testing, and ADSAC assessment and DUI school for clients navigating Oklahoma’s impaired driving system. The program serves veterans, men, women, and court-involved clients in the surrounding community.
The agency holds CARF accreditation. SAMHSA’s record indicates a detox flag for this facility, but the agency’s own published service list does not advertise on-site medical detox, so prospective clients who need acute medical withdrawal management should ask the intake team directly about whether detox is provided in-house or referred to a partner.
Operating hours run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the office closed daily from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. After-hours support is available through a crisis line. Trained staff provide CBT-informed substance use counseling and integrate trauma and co-occurring mental health considerations into care planning.
