About Livengrin Foundation Inc
Livengrin Foundation Inc has been Philadelphia’s premier addiction recovery service since 1966, operating from a campus at 4833 Hulmeville Road in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County. With nearly six decades of treating drug and alcohol addiction in Pennsylvania, the foundation blends evidence-based practice with the depth of experience that comes from continuously evolving alongside the field. The result is a treatment model the organization describes as flexible — built to adapt to the realities of contemporary addiction recovery.
Livengrin offers a continuum of care that includes medical detox, residential treatment, outpatient programming, and intensive outpatient (IOP), allowing patients to enter at the level matching their clinical needs and step down through outpatient care over time. Cognitive behavioral therapy is among the evidence-based methods used. Beyond core addiction treatment, Livengrin operates dedicated tracks for individuals, family members, workforce professionals, and a First Responder Addiction Track (FRAT) for first responders. Gambling addiction is among the specialty areas the foundation treats.
Livengrin serves a broad clinical population, including veterans, young adults (18–25), seniors, men, women, and patients who are Deaf or hard of hearing, as well as those navigating co-occurring trauma or dual diagnosis. The foundation is Joint Commission accredited and accepts Medicaid, private insurance, TRICARE, state insurance, and self-pay. Admissions are available 24/7 through the Bensalem admissions line and email.
