About Recovery Centers of America
Recovery Centers of America at Bracebridge Hall is a Joint Commission-accredited inpatient addiction treatment hospital located at 314 Grove Neck Road in Earleville, Maryland. The campus sits on a historic Chesapeake Bay riverfront estate in Cecil County, and is part of RCA’s national network that has treated nearly 100,000 patients across nine states. The facility is also a SAMHSA-certified Opioid Treatment Program.
RCA at Bracebridge Hall delivers the company’s full System of Care on one campus. Patients in acute withdrawal begin in medically supervised detox, then move into inpatient residential treatment for structured, evidence-based clinical work. After residential, patients can step down into intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), or virtual telehealth programming, with medication-assisted treatment integrated throughout. Mental health treatment is delivered alongside addiction care for the many patients managing co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, or trauma.
Clinical care follows RCA’s Pathways evidence-based curriculum and is led at the corporate level by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jason D. Kirby, DO, MBA, DFASAM and VP of Mental Health Services Dr. Pete Vernig, PhD, MBA, ABPP. The facility treats a wide range of substance use disorders, including alcohol, fentanyl, heroin, prescription opioids, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, kratom, and tianeptine. Specialty tracks support military service members, veterans, first responders, and working professionals, and the campus is pet-friendly.
Recovery Centers of America is in-network with more than 80 major insurance providers and accepts TRICARE, state insurance, and self-pay. The 24/7 admissions team at (833) 216-8549 or the Bracebridge Hall direct line at 410-275-6200 can verify insurance, coordinate transportation, and arrange family interventions. Aftercare and an active alumni community keep patients connected long after discharge.
