Drug & Alcohol Detoxification Facilities in Alabama

Alabama enjoys a reputation as a laidback southern state where life moves at a slower pace, however, for someone struggling with substance abuse, Alabama can be a dangerous place. Over the last few years, the DEA has reported an increased presence of heroin, cocaine, and crystal meth in the Alabama drug community. More alarmingly, a new and extremely potent form of opioid known as "grey death" has emerged in the south and Alabama in particular. This new drug is a combination of heroin, fentanyl, carfentanil, and U-47700 and is so potent that someone may overdose simply from touching it with their finger. Grey death has been the suspected culprit in many overdose deaths in the state of Alabama in recent years. Luckily, there are many drug and alcohol detox centers in the state that will be able to provide medical care, treatment, and support for someone who is ready to change their life.
