Drug & Alcohol Detoxification Facilities in Michigan

Michigan has seen increases in many major drugs over the last decade. In 2017 alone, there were 524 meth labs that were seized in the state, which is a significant portion of all meth labs seized in the US that year. Cocaine remains a large problem in the state as well as heroin. In 2016, there were roughly 8 people who died of heroin overdoses out of every 100,000 residents. Organized crime is also a major issue that plagues the state, mostly due to the drug trade. There are a variety of Mexican cartels that operate drug trafficking networks within the state, and local distribution is handled mainly by the Bloods, Latinos, and Vice Lords gangs. All of that being said, there is still hope for recovery if someone is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction in Michigan. There are dozens of high-quality drug and alcohol detox centers all over the state. These facilities often provide the best chance for someone to safely and successfully quit using drugs or alcohol and to find their way into a life of long-term sobriety.
