About
About Acqua Recovery
Acqua Recovery sits in Midway, Utah, in the Wasatch Mountains east of Salt Lake City, and positions itself as one of Utah’s premier mental health and addiction treatment programs. The campus offers a full continuum of care under a single roof: medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, sober living, aftercare, alumni programming, and medication-assisted treatment.
Clinically, the program is dual-diagnosis from the ground up. Acqua treats substance use disorders involving alcohol, Adderall, benzodiazepines, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, opioids, marijuana, methamphetamine, and prescription drugs, alongside co-occurring mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. The therapy menu reflects that breadth — cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, internal family systems, group and individual therapy, family therapy, nutrition therapy, and experiential work — supplemented by SMART Recovery, breathwork, and cold water therapy on the alternative side.
Populations served include veterans, executives, women, men, young adults, and seniors. The program emphasizes trauma-informed care and offers separate men’s and women’s sober living facilities in Heber, Utah, in addition to the Midway treatment campus. Acqua also operates locations in Boulder and Fort Collins, Colorado, providing options for clients in the Rocky Mountain region.
Acqua Recovery is accredited by The Joint Commission and is in-network with most major insurance providers in Utah, accepting some out-of-network plans as well. SAMHSA-listed payment options include private insurance, TRICARE, and self-pay. The admissions line is (435) 266-4354.
