About BRC Recovery
BRC Recovery sits on Parsons Road in Manor, Texas, just east of Austin, and has served clients in Texas since 2006. The flagship program of BRC Healthcare, it is purpose-built for adults who have not responded to shorter or less structured rehab experiences in the past. The clinical leadership openly describes the population as chronic relapsers and treatment-resistant clients, a framing that shapes everything from length of stay to therapeutic approach.
The model rests on a deep 12-step immersion paired with a robust clinical toolkit. Patients work daily on step work and recovery skills while also engaging in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, brainspotting, somatic experiencing, and group and individual therapy. For trauma and neurological dysregulation, the BRAIN Program brings in neurofeedback. Adjunctive options such as NAD+ IV therapy and ketamine therapy are available for clinically appropriate cases.
BRC Recovery’s clinical roster includes Medical Director Alex Kudisch, MD, DFAPA; Family Medicine Physician Darryl Stinson, MD; Family Nurse Practitioner Lori Ray, FNP; Executive Director Connie Motley, M.Ed., LPC-S; and President and Chief Clinical Officer Amanda K. Baker, MS, LCDC, who oversees clinical services across the BRC Healthcare family. Counselors include Cory Bickham, LCDC, Kenneth Dobbins, LPC-A, and Maryam Mahmoud, LCDC-i. The facility is Joint Commission accredited and LegitScript certified.
Because BRC Recovery is one of three programs under BRC Healthcare, clients can transition directly into Segue Recovery for extended care or Makana Path for longer-term support, building a continuum that reflects the chronic nature of severe substance use disorder. Admissions can be reached at 866-905-4550 to verify insurance benefits and walk through what a long-term residential stay looks like.
