About Conifer Park Inc
Conifer Park has provided inpatient addiction treatment from its Glenville, New York campus since 1983, when Liberty Behavioral Management Group acquired the property and opened the residential program. The facility is Joint Commission accredited, SAMHSA-certified as an Opioid Treatment Program, and is now employee-owned through an ESOP structure — a relatively rare governance model in addiction treatment.
The Glenville campus offers medically supervised detoxification, an Adult Inpatient Program for residential rehabilitation, and Psychiatric Services for clients with co-occurring mental health challenges. Clinical care draws on evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders. An Activities and Recreation Program supports the experiential side of recovery, supplementing the verbal therapy track and giving residents structured opportunities to rebuild routines.
Conifer Park is privately operated and serves adult men and women. Conifer’s stated commitment is to make quality care accessible to all New Yorkers regardless of insurance coverage, accepting Medicaid, state insurance, most private insurance carriers, and self-pay. Transportation is available to inpatient and detoxification services from across the Northeast, which makes the program accessible to clients whose home regions lack a comparable facility.
After residential discharge, Conifer Park operates outpatient clinics in Troy, Syracuse, Schenectady, Plattsburgh, Glens Falls, and Rochester, supporting continuity of care across upstate New York. The Glenville campus’s tranquil setting is part of the clinical model — a contained recovery environment outside the immediate Capital Region urban core. Intake is staffed 24/7 at (800) 926-6433.
