Cornerstone of Medical Arts Center Detoxification is part of Cornerstone Treatment Facilities Network, an employee-owned company that has served as a respected leader in addiction treatment for more than 40 years. The Fresh Meadows facility at 159-05 Union Turnpike provides medically supervised inpatient detox and rehabilitation for adults working through chemical dependency, with care delivered around the clock in 24-hour units.
The program begins with medically supervised detoxification from alcohol and drugs, providing comprehensive evaluation along with medical, nursing, and clinical services. After successful detox, patients can move into Cornerstone’s inpatient rehabilitation program, where a multidisciplinary team completes an extensive evaluation and develops an individualized treatment plan with the client. Each client is assigned to a primary clinician who guides treatment and recovery planning.
Clinical services include individual and group therapy, activity therapies, lectures and films, educational seminars, a nutritional program, and meetings of 12-step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, and Narcotics Anonymous. Family services help loved ones understand chemical dependency as a family disease, with the goal of reducing stress, anxiety, and anger surrounding a loved one’s addiction. Relapse prevention and an aftercare plan support each client beyond discharge.

The facility is accessible by public transportation via the E or F train to Union Turnpike with a transfer to the Q46 bus toward Parsons Boulevard.
