About Kemah Palms Recovery
Kemah Palms Recovery is a premier addiction treatment center located at 1013 Delesandri Lane in Kemah, Texas, on the shores of Galveston Bay just south of Houston. The Joint Commission-accredited facility was founded to create the highest-quality addiction and co-occurring disorders program in the Houston region, combining luxury accommodations with evidence-based clinical care.
Kemah Palms operates a full continuum of care. Drug and alcohol detox programs provide medically managed withdrawal in a safe, comfortable setting, followed by residential and inpatient rehabilitation that gives clients time and space to address root-cause issues. Patients can then step down into the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), the most structured form of outpatient care, followed by Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) for clients balancing daily obligations with continued treatment. Co-occurring mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD, are treated alongside addiction throughout every level of care.
Clinical care blends traditional and holistic approaches. Cognitive behavioral therapy, individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy form the evidence-based backbone, while equine therapy, art therapy, music therapy, and sound baths support emotional regulation and trauma processing. The leadership team is led by CEO Dr. Sabih Faraz, MD, MBA, with Program Director Tabatha Snow, LCDC overseeing clinical operations alongside counselors Martha Villarreal and Miki Bailey, LCDC.
Kemah Palms Recovery is in-network with most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Aetna, Ambetter, Magellan, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, TRICARE, Boon-Chapman, UMR, Humana, and Beacon Health Options. Self-pay and sliding-scale options are available for clients without insurance, and the admissions team at (844) 601-1986 or (713) 568-1210 can verify benefits confidentially.
