About Mirror Lake Recovery Center
Mirror Lake Recovery Center is a residential and detox addiction treatment facility located on a 75-acre campus at 999 Girl Scout Road in Burns, Tennessee, about 45 minutes west of Nashville. The program is dedicated to adults struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions, and it has been ranked in Newsweek’s list of Best Addiction Treatment Centers in Tennessee for 2025.
The Mirror Lake clinical structure is built around three phases of treatment that escalate from medical detox through residential treatment and into partial hospitalization (PHP), with aftercare programming and an active alumni association supporting the transition back to daily life. Detox is medically supervised and designed to address acute withdrawal in a stable environment before the resident moves into the next phase of care.
Programming is multimodal: clinicians integrate evidence-based therapies, one-on-one therapy sessions, group therapy, yoga, and expressive arts. The campus also operates specialty tracks, including the ReNew Christian Treatment program for residents who want faith-based programming and a Service Resiliency Unit (SRU) specifically for veterans. A SMART Recovery program is offered as an alternative to traditional 12-step-based care, and the team incorporates 12-step frameworks for residents who prefer that approach.
Mirror Lake treats a wide range of substance use diagnoses, including alcohol, opioid, heroin, cocaine, prescription drug, stimulant, methamphetamine, marijuana, hallucinogen, synthetic marijuana, flakka, and club drug addiction, alongside co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and bipolar disorder. The intake team conducts assessments to confirm the appropriate level of care and connects prospective residents with insurance verification before admission. Prospective patients should call the published admissions line for current pricing, insurance acceptance, and available admission dates.
