Morris Village Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment Center is a state-operated inpatient addiction treatment facility on Faison Drive in Columbia, South Carolina. The center is part of the South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD), formerly the Department of Mental Health, which has served South Carolinians since 1828. As a public mental health system facility, Morris Village provides residential addiction care to South Carolina adults regardless of income, with state funding available alongside private insurance and TRICARE.
The clinical model centers on medical detoxification and structured residential rehabilitation. Adults entering Morris Village are evaluated for medically supervised withdrawal management and then move into the inpatient residential phase, where individual counseling, group therapy, and medication management form the daily structure.
