About
About Recovery Village at Palmer Lake
The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake is a physician-led drug and alcohol treatment center located in the picturesque town of Palmer Lake, Colorado, midway between Denver and Colorado Springs. The 60,000 square foot campus serves as one of the flagship locations within the Recovery Village national network, providing residential and outpatient addiction care for adults from across the region and the country.
Clinical services span the continuum: medically supervised detox for substance withdrawal, inpatient residential treatment for intensive focus on recovery, outpatient programming, and aftercare planning. The dual diagnosis program treats co-occurring mental health conditions alongside substance use, recognizing that managing both simultaneously is the best predictor of sustained recovery. Specialty tracks cover alcohol addiction, opioid and opiate addiction, benzodiazepine addiction, amphetamine addiction, and other drug dependencies.
The clinical leadership team is anchored by Clinical Director Katie Kostelyk, LPC, LAC, with Site CEO Scott Adams, Director of Nursing Kristen Andresen, RN, and Medical Director Neil Wilkey, MD. The combined experience of the care team represents thousands of professional credentials and a decade-plus of operation at this site.
The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake is Joint Commission accredited and works with most major commercial insurance providers including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, TRICARE East and West, and TriWest. The facility does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. Same-day admissions and 24/7 intake make access fast for people ready to begin treatment.
