About Stepping Stone Center for Recovery
Stepping Stone Center for Recovery operates a residential addiction treatment facility at 1815 Corporate Square Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 2004, the program has spent more than two decades providing structured detox and short-term residential care to adult men and women dealing with substance use disorders. The Jacksonville location is state-licensed, nationally accredited by The Joint Commission, and SAMHSA-certified as an Opioid Treatment Program.
The program is organized around two short-term residential tracks. The Stabilization Program provides medical detox, removing toxins from the body in a medically supervised setting while clients begin building the framework of a recovery program. The Relapse Recovery Program is designed for clients who have completed detox or treatment before and need to dig into the triggers and patterns that drove a relapse. Typical lengths of stay run ten to fifteen days, focused on medically supervised stabilization rather than extended residential treatment.
Clinical work combines medically assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol detox, cognitive behavioral therapy, individual and group therapy, life skills training, and dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions. The program specifically addresses alcohol, opioid, heroin, hydrocodone, percocet, and adderall withdrawal, with detox protocols tailored to the substance and the client’s medical history. An alumni program supports continued engagement after discharge.
Stepping Stone accepts TRICARE, private insurance, and self-pay. The aftercare model emphasizes that addiction is a chronic disease requiring ongoing maintenance rather than a one-time treatment event, and the alumni network is structured to reinforce that framing. Insurance verification is available through the admissions team at 866.957.4960.
